RIP dear Diamond

The title says it all. I woke up this morning to a dead hamster. I put her in a little box and am going to bury her out back next to Casper and Shadow (my rabbits). She was a good girl for one day! The kids are ready for another one already and I'm fine with that. Now that I know what to look for, I'll be more cautious this time!

    You should take it back for a refund!! :-) The pet store gave us two full weeks to exchange Jerry for any reason.

    they told us we could take it back up to them and they would treat it and give us a different one. We didn't even ask for a refund. Brad said, "I'm not driving all the way back to Huntington for a $10 hamster. I don't care about it that much and it would cost us more in gas than the hamster is worth." I'll be paying for it this time around, that's for sure.

    That makes sense to me! I forget you live in the country - Jerry's PetSmart is like 3 minutes away. Sorry Diamond got sick - here's to a new, healthy hamster!

    It still irritates me about that pet store! Their reputation would not be good if it were up to me!
