This year Ryan turns 5 a week before Christmas. Wow! But this post is not about my amazement that my boy is about to be half a decade old. He has never been one to take my word for anything. He has to see it, feel it, experience it for himself. On our way to visit grandma and grandpa by church last weekend he asked me at least 5 times if Santa is real. Well, yesterday he told me he doesn't believe me. He thinks Santa is real. I said ok! Tonight, him and Hannah were bickering and from the other room I heard him tell Hannah that she had better stop or he was going to tell Santa to put her on the naughty list. I about died!! It was the funniest, cutest thing ever!
Brad also told me earlier that while they were out today Ryan told him that he saw God in his room one day and He looked like a shepherd...I told Brad that I didn't really know I'd that was funny or not!
Have I ever said that I love that boy!? Well, I do!

My poor little Abigail has has a rough month so far! I am praying we can finish it out with nothing else happening to her! Long story short: she had a nasty cold for a week when she started coughing. A trip to the Dr got us no where. The coughing only got worse so I took her back to the Dr because I didn't want to let it go through the weekend. That was when We found the ear infection, which required meds. After every dose of antibiotic she would throw up. It only took twice for me to stop that med and call the Dr. so we tried a different antibiotic that was half the amount and only once a day. That seemed to work fine. Well, now her poop must be super potent because she has a bad diaper rash. I mean sitting in the bath tub hurts, a diaper touching it hurts. I think I have it under control this morning. Lots of diaper changes and cream seem to be helping.
Happy thanksgiving!

vacation starts.....
NOW!
The kids are out of school for the next week so it is time to relax! I think we finally got Abigail straightened out so it really is doubly time to relax. She has an ear infection so we started antibiotics which should also clear up her snotty nose and cough that has been making her...and me....miserable this week. I am ready for my happy baby to come back!
Tomorrow we head south to my mom's for several days. Pray for safe and smooth travels. I will try not to forget all of Abigail's food, cups and the like this trip. =)
Have I already said that I can't believe next week is Thanksgiving?! I think it comes quicker and quicker every year! I have to say that this year I am more excited than I was last year and I am even more excited to get out the Christmas decor. Happy Holidays!!

Not much
It has been a few weeks since I wrote last and I have been busy since. Nothing out of the ordinary, just every day life. I think we all know how that is.
I got to meet my new nephew, Thaddeus. He is precious. I can't wait to watch him grow and see who he becomes.
Ryan brought home a cold and his reactive airways disease showed its ugly face. I was praying this would be the winter that he outgrew it and we didn't have to use the inhaler. I guess we'll try again for that next year.
It didn't take Abigail long to catch the cold. It is her first one and it's a doozy. Let's just say the past couple of nights have ended with her in our bed and not much sleep happening for anyone. Today she is 7 months old and she is not having fun celebrating it.
Tomorrow mom goes back home for a week of peace before we go down there and bug her for a few more days! =)
