this week
Okay, so, since last time I wrote I have had a yard sale (only made $45, which is not worth the days of preperation and hours of clean up afterwards), killed a fish that I was babysitting, been to church, went to the pool, and cleaned house. This morning we didn't go anywhere or do anything. The weather has been so nice yesterday and today. I love it! I have the windows open today. It just makes me feel good. I got a $58 electric bill too. That makes me feel pretty good! I am looking forward to the holiday this weekend. My parents are going to Cols to see my sister so we are going to go up too. Hannah has been asking when she is going to see grandma again. She has really missed her since coming home from spending a week with her. I have not been so good about making her do her workbook pages. At first we were on the ball. She did them every day before lunch but one day we weren't here and then after that, we just got out of the habit! So I have been trying to get that started again. She knows how to spell and write her first and last name now. That makes me so proud. She is in the first stage of begining to read. It is so neat to listen to her sound out letters and try to put them together into words. I love seeing her learn and get smarter. Ryan does very well with his colors and is learnign shapes and counting. He used to always leave out number one but lately has been saying 1,2,3,6,7,9,10 so we are getting closer. He is pretty smart too. I love being able to work with them. And daddy actually does too. He always sings the ABC's while they are playing. Anyway, I need to go wake Hannah up. She's been asleep longer than an hour so she won't want to go to bed at a reasonable time tonight!

Life as we know it....
...has returned! I'm so happy to have the kids back home and be getting back into the swing of things around here. As soon as we got the kids home Hannah started asking me if she could go to the other mamaw's house! I wouldn't let her for a few days because they had been gone for 2 weeks! She did ask me when she was going to see grandma by church again because she missed her. That made me alittle sad. I wish they didn't have to be so far away but......such is life. We went to the pool on Monday. That was fun. Then Brad's mom called that evening and wanted to know if she could keep them overnight. So I was alone all day Tuesday! I am beginning to like this down time! I think it is good for all of us to get away from each other once in awhile. Today we have just been playing outside around here. We went on a walk before it got too hot. I took a lot of good pics that I am going to put on here. Now I am waiting for naptime.
We are having a yard sale this Fri and Sat at Brad's g-ma's brother's house. They have a huge garage that we can put all the stuff in. There is going to be a lot of stuff there. So spread the word. It is out Cross Creek, on Frazier's Lane. I was surprised at how much stuff I got together for it, mainly kid's stuff and toys.

I'm a hopeless mom
I finally realized what I am without my kids.....NOTHING! It has almost been a week since I have seen them and I have been so bored! On more than one occassion I have found myself standing out in the livingroom looking around to see what I can clean next! I have enjoyed going on several dates with my husband (fishing, movies, the mall) and only being a wife this week, but I am ready to be a mom again! Hannah told me that she doesn't want to come home but I know my little buddy misses me. I have probably done more shopping than I needed to this week and I got my hair cut. I even tried sleeping in a couple times! But nothing compares to waking up and seeing your kids faces every morning, even if it is too early. I also realized that I will definently go back to work once Ryan gets settled into school. I don't know, in a few years I might change my mind again! and Grandma might never volunteer to keep 3 grandkids for a week again!

home sweet home!!
feeding the ducks
my girl!
the awning the morning after a big storm
finding shells on the beach
after putt-putt
We are finally back from a wonderful week at the beach. It took forever to get here and then was over in a flash. I was ready to come home. Staying in the camper for a week with 3 kids is kinda hard. Even though we were only actually in the camper to sleep and eat! I will post some pics here but if you want to see tons of them, you have to go to facebook. It was nice to just get up in the morning, not worry about fixing my hair or what to wear. We just put on our bathing suits and were off! We saw fireworks at Broadway at the Beach (I def recc going there), went putt-putting, got to see my parents, fed ducks like crazy, got the awning on the camper ripped off in a bad storm, laid on the beach and went swimming. On the way home we left the kids in NC with my parents for a week or however long she can handle them! So Brad and I are taking this opportunity to go on a few dates! We went fishing when we got home from the beach yesterday and went to see a movie this afternoon. I already have a list of things I need to do cleaning wise while I am here alone during the day. So, it will be interesting this week.

Beach-bound in 4 days!!
This will probably be the last time I write anything on here until after we get back from the beach on the 13th. I will have plenty of time on my hands since mom will have the kids for a week! I am going to have a crazy, busy week this week. Mom and dad are coming up late Wed night and staying around until Fri morning when they leave for the preachers meeting thing. Mom is going to watch the kids while I pack up the camper and meet Jessica in Athens to get Michael on Thru evening. I also have to make one more trip to Walmart this week for some last minute things for the beach. We are all getting excited but I hate this part of the process! Brad's grandma is going to take care of the dogs and I can't thank her enough!! Boarding for 2 dogs is not cheap!! We are going to spend Fri night at my parent's house to break up the trip. They won't be there, they will be in WV! Everyone pray for us while we are gone. That we would be safe and have a good time. Pulling the camper makes me a nervous wreck so I won't be able to relax until we are parked in our spot and I am looking at the beach!
